| 1. Standards |
It's designed according to DIN 75201, ISO 6452, SAE J1756 , conforming to detect the fogging
characteristics of automotive interior materials.

| 2. Principle |
The samples are heated in the glass beakers, any volatile constituents condenses on the glass plates
which cooled by the cooling chamber. Get the glass plates down after the condensing process and
measure the reflectometer value by glossmeter. Compare with the glasses without fogging condensate
and then we know the fogging value of the samples. Another testing method is that the samples are
heated in the glass beakers. Any volatile constituents condenses on the aluminum foil discs which cooled
by the cooling chamber. Get the aluminum foil discs down after the condensing process and weigh them
by electronic balance with scale divisions of 0.01mg minus the weight of aluminum foil discs without
condensate, then we get the result.

| 5. Performance |
Clean glass beakers and glass plates -> Prepare samples -> Switch on -> Place samples -> Place
glass plates or aluminum foils -> Place cooling blocks -> Specified time testing -> Get glass plates or
aluminum foils down and wait until a specified time -> Measure reflectometer value of glass plates or
weigh aluminum foils -> Compare and make conclusions
