Unwind
Section
- Encased
framework to unwind.
- Surface unwind
friction drive.
- Air operated
adjustments.
- Max.film width
1100mm - Min.film width 200mm
- Max.Reel dia.
600mm.
- Automatic reel
cut out by means of contact
tabs.
- Four separating
bars for multi reel bag
making.
- Optional side
plates with solid shafts
& cones
Main
Machine Section
- Constructed from
steel side frames 12mm
supported on heavy duty steel base frame and tied together by series of
rollers.
- Infeed rubber
rollers covered from neoprene
70 shore hardness for hard wearing and long life.
- Dancing arm
system controlled by
potentiometer located at the rear of the machine for ease of
adjustment. Four rollers 55mm dia with internal sealed bearings.
- Inch push
button for film feeding.
- Electrical
control by Baldor servo
brushless AC motor 6.3kw.
- Draw rollers
grooved rubber covered 70mm
dia neoprene covered to 70 shore hardness. Driven by Baldor servo AC
motor . Each draw roller has individual gears made from hardened steel
mounted on sealed bearings. Spring tensioners adjustable on draw roller
assembly.
Sealing
Section
- Weld bars
individually controlled by Baldor
servo brushless AC motor 6.3kw via Omicron plc.
- Control panel
mounted at front panel with
all controls.
- Welding is by
means of stainless steel
Resistance wire with automatic tension by spring loaded slide blocks.
- Standard width
of welding wire 2.5mm wide x
0.7mm thick. 4mm thick wire can be supplied as optional extra for heavy
duty bags and thick films.
- Welding bar
movement is vertical with
non-interrupt during bag making and indexing.
- Teflon covered
top head and Teflon roll for
bottom head adjustable from the side using sprung loaded clamping
plates on bottom bar.
- The flying
knife is mounted on pulley drive
belt driven via pulleys by a separate servo motor, AC brushless type
3.4kw
Electrical
System
- The machine is
driven by three Baldor Servo
motors and controller, with display for bag length during production.
- All timing is
done by means of an encoder
which is controlling the Omicron plc controller. The machine cycling is
controlled by a 6.3kw AC servo brushless motor, giving maximum cycling
speed of 120 c/s min.
- The Photo cell
eye is by Telemecanique.
There is also an alarm system for monitoring print. If after three bags
the eye does not pick up the print, the machine will stop automatically.
- All control
wiring is 24volts. There is
also a fault finding system by display.
- Display panel
mounted at front of machine.
Air
System
Stacking
Table
- Steel frame with
vulcanised rubber conveyor
belt electrically operated. Clamping bar when in the down position
allows bags to be conveyed to the stacking table. Continually indexing
as film exits weld bar. Bag stacks set by pre-set counter in touch
screen.

Safety
& Security Systems
The machine is
supplied complete with the
correct covers and security protections in order to make it extremely
operatively comfortable, and to ensure the maximum anti-accident
security following the European laws. All the security protections are
designed to accept all the ordinary operations, permitting their
opening for the access to the parts to be handled, without the
necessity of removing them from their positions and without the use of
any tools. A security interlock system, integrated in the auxiliary
installation, ensures an immediate stop of all the units in movement in
the area where the guards are opened, or halting of the entire machine
following the European laws.
